Our cycle routes come in various forms, but are always adorned with splendid scenery and pristine landscapes. From easy outings for beginners and casual cyclists who have only just begun to know the joys of mountain biking, to challenging bike tours up into suttounding mountains.

Here there really is the perfect challenge for everyone. Up to close to the Hohe Tauern mountains, the "Tauern Bike Route" leads you past picturesque village and old farmhouses, rivers, streams and small lakes. There are plenty of "refuelling" stops along the way, where cyclists are always welcome to rest and enjoy the view, bringing to the life the saying, "he who stops, getsmore out of the day".

The Pinzgau is, with over 1.000 kilometers of cycling and mountain bike paths of all grades, one of the biggest cycling centers in the Alps.

You can use the local train and bus service to take you and your bike to Krimml at the head of the valley where the Tauern cycle route starts. from there it is downhill all the way. public transport timetable
