|Permanent Exhibition Chinese Village
The blacksmith Sebastian Perfeller (1814 - 1883) was fascinated by Chinese garden culture and over 15 years, built a model Chinese settlement.
The Chinese village was built up a terraced steep rock slope, with pavilions, galleries, rose gardens and avenues.
The exhibition is in the community center and is open Monday till Friday from 8.00 till 12.00 o'clock and 15.00 till 18.00 o'clock.
Whilst undergoing revovation, some priceless mural paintings were uncovered in the St Michaels chapel in the parish church in Piesendorf .
The painted inscription is clearly signed with the name "Michael", the date is sometime in the 13th Century with only the first 3 figures readable as 143?. The mural paintings are surrounded by decorative template frameworks.
The museum contains regional old and contemporary dialect literature in form of books and manuscripts. In addition word collections starting from 1785 and old saying, playing and telling property.
Also radio plays and video cassettes with recordings from the living environment and also works of regional dialect authors.
